Notices

Are you new to Deebank Village? Welcome neighbour! We'd like to hear from you and explain what our association does. See our Association Information page to get started. Drop an email to our general mailbox with name, address and phone number and someone will contact you.
Members are reminded that properties owned by the association are accessible only to property owners in good standing with their association fees. This includes access to  the beach area and boat Launch. Your association fees go to paying for the insurance, taxes and maintenance of the village roads. Contact Mary Jo Baldwin to pay your annual invoice or arrears.
The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources Bear Wise Program teaches people about black bears as well as things they can do to keep bears away from urban and semi urban areas.  See Bear Wise Program page and preventing encounters at the cottage.
1973 Map of Three Mile Lake Available See this page for details.
If you suspect algae in the water, check out this guide to determine if it is really algae. If it is, call the Ministry of Environment (MOECC) at 1-866-MOE-TIPS (663-8477).
See this page for beach postings in Muskoka and information on algae problems and lakes posted.

If you have something to sell, give away, or need, send an email to Paul and he will post it on the Bulletin Board
The Three Mile Lake Association was restarted as a result of the toxic 2005 Algae bloom  on the lake (See Three Mike Lake Water Quality on left). There are many DVCA members that have joined this association to support their efforts working with governments and  agencies to try and ensure this problem does not reoccur. See their Web site for updates and reports

The Muskoka Lakes Association was established in 1894 to represent the interests of lake shore residents in preserving the unique beauty of Muskoka.
